District Governor Bio:

Don Donahoo is a native of western Oklahoma. He was born in Elk City, and attended Merritt and Elk City Schools. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor?s degree in agriculture education. He worked for the USDA Soil Conservation Service for 32 years in various locations across Oklahoma. He joined Lions in 1968, belonging to only two clubs, Pryor and Enid Noon. He served as president 2 times, Zone Chairperson 3 times, attended 5 International Conventions, 2 USA/Canada Forums, Lions World Service for the Blind, and served on the State Convention Planning Committee one term. Lion Don and wife Lanora are members of the First United Methodist Church, are volunteer 4-H Leaders, and enjoy collecting antiques, especially Lions Club memorabilia. He married Lanora Miller in 1958 and they have 2 children and 3 grandchildren
